ABOUT

On Sunday 17th of March 2024 a Cross-country race, 2nd XCO Lošinj UCI Class 1 will be held. The race will be pointed for the Class 1 points in the categories: Elite Men (ME), Elite Woman (WE), Junior Men (MJ) and Junior Women (WJ). The race will also count for points for the Croatian XCO cup.

Meeting place for all the competitors will be in Camp Čikat (Čikat ul. 6a, 51550, Mali Lošinj, Croatia - description is attached), where the race office is located.

Each competitor starts at his/her own risk.

Distribution of start numbers is schedueled for Saturday, 16th of March 2024 from 16.00h till 18.00h, and on Sunday, 17th of march 2024 from 8.00 h untill one hour before the start for each category. Start list for the each categories concludes 1 hour before the start.

Start and finish of the competition is located in Camp Čikat, close to Aquapark, where the winners ceremony will also be held.

In the case of extreme conditions on the course (in the case of extreme rain or heat) organizer in conjunction with a UCI Comissaire and technical delegates will adjust the number of the rounds for all the categories.

Team managers meeting will be held on Saturday, 16th of March 2024. at 18:00 h at the mobile house (RACE OFFICE) near the start and finish area.

TRACK

Course is 4.600 m in length and will be marked with black arrows on a white paper which shows direction of movement in accordance with technical regulations and with the tape at the places with fast changing direction.

Feeding and Technical assistance zone will be marked near the start and finish line. Details of the course are visible on the map which is attached to this technical guide. Course will be marked and available for inspection on Friday 15. 3. 2024. at 16.00 h, with a reminder that part of the course which goes through the roads and walking areas will not be closed for traffic and walking, so please, take extreme caution!

The awards are medals for the first three competitors in all categories and the total cash prize fund of 4.640,00 EUR in categories: Elite&U23 (M), Elite&U23 (W), Junior Men (MJ) and Junior Women (WJ). Other sponsor prizes might also be shared.

Lunch is available for all the competitors after the race, from 12.00 h (location of lunch distribution area is marked on an event map attached).

The race is held by MTB technical regulations of CCF and the UCI's regulations. The organizers are not responsible for the acts done by the drivers to third parties.

The race is ON regardless of weather conditions.

For the events during the competition, the rider can file an appeal to the main comissiare in writing at most 15 minutes after the end of riders race with a deposit of the amount of 30 €.

To appeal the results rider can also contribute in writing, no later than 15 minutes after the announcement of the results with a deposit in the amount of 30 €.

• The organizer will charge an entry fee for every rider not unsubscribed to their team on time.
• Late and invalid entry fee is higher by 100%. Late entry is possible until one hour before each race.
• Start numbers pick up – one person for the entire team to avoid an unnecessary crowd. Thanks in advance.
